David Livingston works in sculpture and performance, often employing his large, organically shaped soft-sculptures as theatrical props in public happenings. He documents his sculptures in still-life gouaches, video and photography. Livingston received his BFA from Kenyon College and his MFA from the Pratt Institute. He was a 2011 resident at the Vermont Studio Center and his work was featured in the Governor’s Island Art Fair in both 2011 and 2012. Livingston works as an adjunct professor at University of New Haven and Housatonic Community College in Connecticut.
